Welcome to the audition portal for Sefton Spotlights’ 2026 production of The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition). This website contains everything your child needs to prepare for their audition, including character descriptions, monologues, rehearsal tracks and audition guidance. You can download the audition pack with all of the information from this portal using the links on this page. Please use the contact form on this website if you require the pack in another language. Please read the important information below before booking an audition slot.

Important Information – Please Read Before Booking

Auditions are open to all children in Years 3–5.

The deadline for signing up for auditions has now passed.

Each child must prepare both a monologue and a song.

Children who arrive having not learned any of their monologue or song are unlikely to be offered a part.

Audition slots are limited and we are unable to offer replacement auditions for children who do not attend their scheduled slot.

If your child is unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Callbacks, where required, will take place during the school day on 20–21 July 2026.

All roles, including ensemble roles, involve a significant commitment and regular rehearsal attendance.

If your child requires adjustments or additional support, please let us know when booking so that we can ensure they are fully supported.
