Professor Marvel
A traveling salesman whose career of the moment is fortune telling. The audience should get the idea that he is a bit of a con man; however, he has a good heart. Similarly, his Oz counterpart, the Wizard, is a con man as well — just an average guy with a fantastic facade. This role requires an actor who can convincingly deliver the two different sides to this character.

Leaving so soon? Wait, wait! Don’t tell me! You are running away! Ha ha! Professor Marvel never guesses, he knows! Now gaze into the crystal ball with me… Ah yes… I see a kind-hearted girl who thinks the world is bigger than her own backyard, but who is about to discover that the greatest magic of all is knowing where she truly belongs.

We get up at twelve and start to work at one.
Take an hour for lunch and then at two we're done.
Jolly good fun!
